Thinking of you...especially this time of year.
sean ....on a lighter note February 27, 2015

we were grabbing a fancy meal at del taco on Balboa and Vanowen one afternoon way back in i'd have to guestimate early 2007....so Brooke was looking beautiful like alaways and i recall her beingvery chatting as we began to eat.....so as she rambled on about this and that ...i secretly started putting Del Scorcho sauce into her ketchup right under her non-expecting nose....so after several fries she gets quiet and has a puzzled look onher face...she says" Babe.  Did you ever notice how spicy Del Tacos ketchup is?"
Classic Brooke....I Miss Your Face. Del Taco isnt the same without you......
Sean Fernandez I miss you so much.... August 20, 2014

There are so many memories that it's hard to put them into words.  Over 7 years of my life with Brooke....and that seems way to short now.  From the first time I saw her pushing that food cart across the room....I knew I had to have her.  That bleached blonde hair with bright red lips and she was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen.  I don't know how to explain what we shared in a way that anyone would understand....except her.  So I am just going to let the words flow....I know she "gets" it.

Halloween (our first kiss), the Orange line, the Red line, Hollywood/Highland, the Farmers Market , Jerry's Deli (she always ordered split pea soup), Ventura Blvd./Newcastle, Ronnie Brown, Starlight Cottage, Golden Eagle, Pizza's, Coffee w/ Splenda, Yogi, Citrus, Michaels, Chico, "White Lightning", Fish Fry, OC Fair (we rode an elephant), rehab, the GreenHouse, El Torito, 2nd Street/ Falcon, NFL, sushi, Pi-pa Mountain, blasting the music cleaning house, Hillcrest, cold nights with the fan on, menthols, rehab again, Signal Hill, tattoos, "grassy knoll", HB, Irvine, the day we got Fonzie, Pelican Hill, turkey dinners, cuban food, awkward kisses, Ventura Beach, Palm Springs, laying in bed watching TV, saying I Love You....the list goes on and on.  I could keep going forever but I know she "gets" it.

I am so sad that this story ended the way that it did.  She brought so much love, joy, excitement, saddness and never ending flavor into my life.  I am forever grateful that I was able to share so much of my life with her.  I will never forget the way she made me feel...with her tenderness and kindness, the way she lit up the room with her down to earth beauty and style.  I will keep the memories of her alive in my heart forever.

I love you Brooke Watkins.

C. Borurguet My deepest condolence May 10, 2017

My condolences, as feelings of pain and bitterness become unbearable. It is my desire to convey a comforting thought based on the Holy Scriptures

John 5:28 "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out."

This passage speaks of the resurrection of our loved ones. It is not God's plan to see us suffer and die, so He extends the following invitation to us: "Come near to God and He will draw near to you" (James 4:8)

Sean Fernandez My Beautiful Brooke August 11, 2014

Brooke....

Not a day goes by that you aren't on my mind.  The time we shared together was precious and I will always love you.  You were the most beautiful woman I had ever been with.  The face of an angel.  We shared so much....the tougher times pale in comparison to the absolute joy and flavor you added to my life.  I know that you are in a better place and look forward to the time when we shall see eachother again.....rest peacefully.....love alaways.

My condolences. It is my hope that these words of the Holy Scriptures, prove to be supportive in this difficult and painful time…..

John 11:32-45

32 And so Mary, when she arrived where Jesus was and caught sight of him, fell at his feet, saying to him: “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” 33 Jesus, therefore, when he saw her weeping and the Jews that came with her weeping, groaned in the spirit and became troubled; 34 and he said: “Where have YOU laid him?” They said to him: “Lord, come and see.” 35 Jesus gave way to tears. 36 Therefore the Jews began to say: “See, what affection he used to have for him!” 37 But some of them said: “Was not this [man] that opened the eyes of the blind man able to prevent this one from dying?”

38 Hence Jesus, after groaning again within himself, came to the memorial tomb. It was, in fact, a cave, and a stone was lying against it.39 Jesus said: “TAKE the stone away.” Martha, the sister of the deceased, said to him: “Lord, by now he must smell, for it is four days.”40 Jesus said to her: “Did I not tell you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” 41 Therefore they took the stone away. Now Jesus raised his eyes heavenward and said: “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. 42 True, I knew that you always hear me; but on account of the crowd standing around I spoke, in order that they might believe that you sent me forth.” 43 And when he had said these things, he cried out with a loud voice: “Laz´a·rus, come on out!” 44The [man] that had been dead came out with his feet and hands bound with wrappings, and his countenance was bound about with a cloth. Jesus said to them: “Loose him and let him go.”

45 Therefore many of the Jews that had come to Mary and that beheld what he did put faith in him;
